Summer Holiday Fun
Hi, everyone! Happy Fourth of July Weekend! And with the way the holiday is falling, for most it is going to be nice long one, too. What are your plans? Since I live in the part of the country where summer is short, I’m trying to make the most of it.
I don’t have any big specific plans. Instead, as many of you know, I moved to a new city, so this is my first summer in my new house. I thought of having a big get together. Unfortunately the weather is calling for 50% chance of crap and a 50% chance of maybe not crap with humidity, lol. As I sit here writing, I’m looking at recipes and trying to plan a couple different menus that 
will be great served either inside around the island or out on my deck. Rather than a big get together, I’m going to catch up with friends here & there over the next few days. Truth be told, I prefer smaller get togethers. And it is working out for the better. More time with more friends (and recipes I can try out)! The one thing I know, there will definitely be lots of food, fun and laughs. Oh, and of course, some baseball & beer!
