Hi Everyone! Hope this finds you all well and having a happy hump day! I have been good. It has been way too long since I have touched base with all of you so I wanted to say hi. Last time, you might remember, I was taking a sick day. Unfortunately, that day turned into several. I am happy to say I have finally kicked whatever the hell I had and am back from my MILF duty travels. More on my travels another day. Today, I wanted to tell you about my wonderful MILF Day girl day.
As you know, I am a real life MILF. And although, my MILF duties keep me quite busy, I took a day for just some girl time fun! We started the day with breakfast and a trip to Starbucks – us girls need our fuel! Then we headed to Sephora for makeovers. Now, you know I don’t typically wear make up if I can avoid it but there are times that call for it. I for one needed an actually make over. Skin changes, styles change, circumstances change. The truth is, I’ve changed since the last time I bought cosmetics. It was good for me to not buy things on my own, but to have someone who works with them and do that for me. Even though I don’t like to wear makeup – I happen to be pretty good at application. I wanted products for an all natural look that could be adjusted for a day and night look and I got them! I also picked up, at the insistence of my very temperamental very gay make up artist, primer, setting powder and setting spray. With my weather here and my skin – these have proven to be my best purchases. New brushes to use some of those fab new colors and Ms K had a very long receipt. But it was so worth it. I picked up a world of knowledge that you can be sure I will share with you in the future. (BTW – if you can’t get to a Sephora store for your own makeover ~ please check out their website. After getting all dolled up, we made a second trip to Starbucks and shopped til we were ready to drop! The day concluded with an amazing thin crust pizza and a sangria (ok – it wasn’t just one – lol). A great girl day with my favorite girl. I had an awesome MILF Day.
